Fujicolor 200 (or C200) is a 35mm color film available in three packs of 36-exposure rolls. It used to be offered in single packs and in 24-exposure rolls, too, but Fujifilm cut those a few years ago.

Fujifilm introduced Fujicolor C200 in 1990 as a low-budget, consumer-grade color negative film. I've shot a few rolls of it over the years, although it was never my go-to option. Fujifilm gave it a small refresh in 2017. Sadly, in late 2021, Fujifilm began selling rebranded Kodak Gold 200 as Fujicolor C200.

Today we compare two 35mm film stocks Fuji C200 (Fuji Superia) and Kodak Gold 200. These are amongst some of the more inexpensive film options and provide am.

It's nice to know that Fujicolor C200 has a four-layer film; fluorescent lamps do not cast off that much cyan images when shooting indoors. Probably, if compared with Fuji Superia 200, this film can bring out some negative feedback, but to people who find "art" out of perfection, this film can be their best call.

While it's a bit sad to see Fuji abandon the products which made them so special, at least it can be said that Fuji C200 might be the cheapest film on the market ($4.99 for a single roll on B&H's website, less than Kodak Color Plus that I profiled last week).

The discontinuation of consumer films like Fuji Superia 200, 800, and more, as well as AgfaPhoto Vista 200 (a rebranded Fuji C200) shows that the industry (or at least Fujifilm) is moving away from consumer film. On one hand, the moves make some sense. The public just doesn't consume as much film as they did twenty years ago.
