August 27, 1934 · Georgia, USA Nickname The pinhead twins Height 4′ 4½″ (1.33 m) Mini Bio Elvira and Jenny Lee Snow, also known as the Snow Twins, were born in Georgia, but they were often advertised in their sideshow act as being from the Yucatan of Mexico and sometimes from Australia. (Some reports state that they were not actually twins at all).

They were billed as Pip and Flip - pinheads from Peru. Business had dropped considerably by 1930. While it was possible to attract 20,000 customers a day back in 1915, showman were lucky to attract 8,000 customers a day by the beginning of the Depression. Showmen consequently dropped prices, but then the quality of the freaks began to suffer.

The Story of Pip and Flip Not from the Yucatan or Peru, but from Georgia, twin sisters Elvira and Jenny Lee were born circa 1910 to Robert and Lillie Snow of Hartwell, Georgia. They "worked" as side show attractions at the World Circus Side Show at Coney Island, New York. The shows owner - a real scoundrel named Sam Wagner.

At one time they were managed by their brother, Cliff. They appeared at Coney Island in the late 20s and were still being exhibited as late as the early 40s.
