The New Country Threads Chicken Scratch 14 Comments / By Jo / June 24, 2020 Hello from Kayla! I know Mom and Mary of Country Threads share a lot of readers, so I thought I'd drop in and share some blog news for Mary. Mary has had a frustrating couple of weeks! I was over at Chicken Scratch Country Threads' blog and saw these pieces. Mary even included a close up picture. Oh, my word. I just loved it. I love hand stitching. I love old embroidery pieces. I love embroidery. I love the cute little birds. In my excitement about it, I contacted my daughter Kayla. I sent Kayla a link to Mary's blog.

Corrections: Part Three: I miscounted on the Part 3 units. You'll need 168 units total: 25 sets of 4 for full blocks, 20 sets of 3 for half-blocks (Which were presented as 10 sets of 6 to keep folks guessing) and 4 sets of 2 for quarter blocks. Part Five: Original directions had you make 36 with 4 corners. You only need 25 with 4 corners.

I am working on a Bullseye quilt QAL from the Country Threads Chicken Scratch Blog. I am intimidated by sewing circles and the QAL circles are raw-edge sewn circles so they are easy to sew. Having templates to do curve sewing would really help. reply. Nancy George. February 20, 2019.
